UniHouse history
Who founded UniHouse?
UniHouse began as a response to the difficulty students face when looking for accommodation near university. The search often means comparing incomplete property details and spending time following up on leads before a student can decide whether a room is suitable.
UniHouse was founded by two Northrise University students, Arnold Kasonde and Frank Kunda of Quantum Digital Labs, and co-developed by Quantum Digital Labs and Zenexa Digital Labs.
Why it began
As students, the founders knew how much time and uncertainty can go into finding a place to live while studying. UniHouse was created to bring accommodation details together so students can compare locations, asking prices, amenities and availability more clearly.
The teams behind the platform
Arnold Kasonde and Frank Kunda founded UniHouse through Quantum Digital Labs. Quantum Digital Labs and Zenexa Digital Labs both contributed to its development. That distinction matters: the two students are the founders, while the two digital labs are the co-developers.
UniHouse continues to focus on student housing in Zambia. Students should still view a room, check an agreement and confirm who will receive a payment before committing to a property.
